The Asda Money Credit Card is a no-annual-fee cashback credit card that rewards spending at Asda and elsewhere, with rewards paid into an Asda Rewards Cashpot rather than as direct statement credit.
The card earns 0.75% back on Asda purchases (including in-store grocery shopping, George and Asda petrol) and 0.2% on spending everywhere else. Rewards are distributed as Asda Pounds into the Asda Rewards app, which must be linked to the card. Asda Pounds can be redeemed as vouchers at Asda, online or in-store.
A welcome offer of £20 in the Asda Rewards Cashpot is currently available to new customers, subject to eligibility. Terms apply, so check the current offer at money.asda.com before applying.
The card also offers 10% back in Asda Pounds on eligible Asda Money insurance products, including home, pet and annual travel insurance, subject to terms.
Rewards are redeemable at Asda only, which may not suit everyone. The 0.2% rate on non-Asda spending is low compared to other general cashback cards. For those whose spending is concentrated at Asda, the in-store rate of 0.75% is reasonable for a no-fee card. For those who shop across multiple retailers, a general cashback card may return more overall value.
As with all rewards credit cards, the card is only cost-effective for those who clear their balance in full each month. Carrying a balance will typically result in interest charges that outweigh any rewards earned.
Always make sure you can afford repayments.
Based on an assumed borrowing of £1,200 at a purchase rate of 29.9% p.a. (variable), the representative APR is 29.9% variable. No annual fee.
Rate correct as of July 2026. Always verify current terms at money.asda.com before applying. This article is for general information only and does not constitute financial advice.
