ClearScore is a credit broker, not a lender.

The Chrome was a credit-builder card from Vanquis, positioned as the lowest-rate card in its range. It carried a representative APR of 42.9% variable — high enough that carrying a balance month to month accrued significant interest.

New customers started with a credit limit between £500 and £1,500, having previously started from £250. Limits could be reviewed after the fifth statement and every five months thereafter, up to a maximum of £4,000.

The card is no longer open to new applications, though existing cardholders can continue to use their accounts.

Vanquis's current credit-builder card is the Vanquis Credit Builder Credit Card, which serves the same part of the market.
